"I searched for bass boats to replace my first bass boat an Alu. hull 50 hp rig. It was nice with lots of room and live wells ect, I was into fishing tournments and a bass club, So I fished in many different bass boats and had a good idea of what I was looking for. Bassmaster had a ad for Bullet boats never rode in one but they sure looked cool.Research led me to Nichols. I made the trip from Atlanta area to check them out, Scott was very friendly and asked lots of questions on what I was looking for in a boat and what I would be using it for. I was ready to order one and scott called me and said I needed to come up and look at a used one he just took in. Well road trip again he had a 21foot 10 inch dual console Blue monster..I was not looking for such a size but I fell in love...I asked will it be fast enough for tourny fishing...He smiled and asked how fast is enough...he had a plan and rigged me up with a 225 pro max. We picked it up a week later. He said a few words of wisdom and off I went. I rigged out the boat with electonics trolling motor. GPS ect. Off to the lake Lanier to break it in. He said a few tanks off fuel take it easy. Then start to play with the jack plate for some speed. I did and had little luck getting it over 65. Made the call Scott said come on up and he would help. Off to see him brought the boat back Scott smiled and said lets go to the river. Ok... never drove on a river before. His mechanic was there playing with a boat he comes over pops the cowl off my boat engine checks a few connections and say now lets give you full power and adjusts the throttle Scott smiles lets get it the water, He drives I am holding on face flapping in the wind he looks over and says 75 your turn. He schools me on how to drive it up on the last pad and to watch the current...I got 72 very happy load her up Scott tells me more stuff to try with the jack plate. I got it set up now it runs 75 plus with two guys and live wells full. Everyone In my bass club was scared to death to ride in my boat but just one ride changed thier minds...That was in 1996 Today I just fish for fun but my Bullet still hauls ass! It has seen water in 6 states been on some nasty rough water.I often fish Clarks Hill you got to watch the wind there. I was at West Point came out onto the lower main lake with a big head of steam made the turn north I looked at my partner and said hold on tight we hit some of the biggest waves I thought we were done for. The Bullet came off the top of wave 1 like a missle hit the top of wave 2 just the way it came off wave 1 I trimed down hit the next wave slowed down enought to punch into the next wave water everywhere scared the poor guy next to me in the lake to death his Ranger had just done the same dance too...He said I heard ya coming and prayed you would not hit me..I eased over to the other side of the lake waves were not as bad remembered Scott said long boats are fast boats when you have waves. Got on top watched the rpms and danced her to the weigh in. The Ranger was late...and wet Top notch people to deal with and the Bullet is my boat. "

I received the yamaha 9.9 a few weeks ago. Last weekend I finally made it out to the lake for the first time. I read the owners manual (as usual) and I am following the break in etc..
It started on the first pull.

" Jill and I recently purchased an Eagle 175 coastel with a 60 hp 4stk. We love our new boat. The modified V hull makes this boat handle sweet. The 4stk yamaha is so quiet and so fuel efficient, its truely unbelievable. The only problem I can find is the yamaha is so quiet that I find myself always looking back to see if it's running. We were also very pleased with our salesman Scott. Scott is friendly,helpful, and full of knoledge about the boats he's selling. "Nichols Marine has taken care of me and my new G3 1756 Deluxe in every way. I love the boat and more importantly, my clients love the boat. Sometimes I think the Yamaha 4-stroke is running on water rather than gas. With the 21-gallon tank I can run forever. In four months I've filled it up twice, and I've been one the water every weekend, running hard. I had just a couple of very minor wiring or cosmetic issues that Nichols has taken care of in a heartbeat.

"My husband and I recently purchased a Bullet Boat from Nichols Marine. We have never been treated so nice by a business. We drove about 300 miles across the state to get there, so that should say something about them. Carter, Brianne, and Tracy were extremely polite and helpful to us. We would highly recommend Nichols Marine to anyone. We give Nichols Marine an 11 on a scale of 1-10. (Although Tracy scared me to death while taking us for a test drive/ride on the Bullet, who knew a Bullet would go that fast with a 2.5 MERC on it, I didn't.) Nichols Marine and their staff are AWESOME!!!"
